WEBSITE PROPOSAL/ CURRENT PROJECT
The idea of the website is to provide a platform that artist and designers could join to publicise their equipment. Once signed in, they would be able to link their own art supplies on their website and then promote the page to their fans on social media. When fans view the influencers section on my website and click the product links, the links will be affiliated giving the user a commission when they are used- subsequently providing a insentive to promote. Over time as more join, users would be able to scroll through the website clicking different artist and comparing which e.g pencil is the most common or in use amongst Instagram artists. Therefore, reducing the time it takes to discover equipment. The most frequent question I get is always “what paper, pen, crayons etc do you use?”, so this would answer it, whilst gaining revenue through a percentage from affiliated products.
